Pawel Sobczak is the Vice President of Ecosystem Build for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is responsible for over 1000 ISVs in EMEA, helping them to adopt IBM Software in their solutions and expand presence internationally. Most of his 27 years career at IBM was dedicated to IBM Partners, helping them to grow skills, leads and profits. Pawel has led multi-cultural sales teams and transformed IBM software business with partners in high growth territories of Central and Eastern Europe, North-East Europe, Middle East and Africa, being based in Warsaw, Vienna, Zurich, Prague and Dubai. His current mission is to accelerate business with ISVs and MSPs who build applications or managed services embedding IBM Technology; with personal strong focus on Embeddable AI. Pawel graduated with Masters in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Institute of Cybernetics in Poland. He also holds MBA from Open University in UK. He is married and has 3 children. In free time he enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and running marathons.
